| Ok, I know there are a couple of movie topics, so if throwing this one in is too much, feel free to delete it. Alrighty, it's the Halloween season and I felt this needed to be done. What are some of your favorite horror movies? Here's mine, in no particular order: Nightmare On Elm Street * 1-6 only, 7 was ok, but I could watch the first 6 over and over again * Joy Ride *The thing that makes this one so scary, is that it could actually happen* Anything with Vincent Price *You can never beat a classic* House Of Wax ( Remake ) *Gotta love a movie where Paris Hilton dies* Any Godzilla movie *I know, not technically horror after the first one, but he's gotta be mentioned* Nosferatu Any of the 1930's horror films (Ie. Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, The Creature From The Black Lagoon, etc ) *See Vincent Price* Forbidden Siren * Suprisingly good, IMO* Pray *Another highly intriguing Japanese horror film* Well, that's all I can remember, for now. So. what's yours?

| Silent Hill is by far the best piece of horror movie I've ever seen. Second place would be... let me think... 28 Days Later I guess... Then the American The Ring and then I dunno

| why doesn't anyone talks about Saw? by far is my fav... the only horror movie that made me scream. I like Silent Hill too, but that's cuz I'm a SH fan. ^_^ anythin' with Vampires/Demons/Spirits count on me. |

| well, were the tortures that scared me... movies don't, usually efect me, and Saw did afected me like Silent Hill did, that's why I like it. On the other hand, the "I only do this do test ppl" is also vry attractive to me (I'm strange don't mind me) and I hated that the villain has to die... -.-' I also liked The Exorcist, the 1st movie and Exorcist: The Beginning. It didn't scared me a lot, but since I'm a Supernatural fan I always like to see things related to supernatural stuff. |

| I'm the same. But what I like mostly is the poetry of horror. I mean, not the shocks, they are cheap and rarely work. But the demented, twisted aesthetics of a sick world like Silent Hill's, or the fairy tale atmosphere of The Ring... Now that's right up my alley. That's part of the reason why I love Siren so much. It has style and it doesn't use cheap shocks...

| that what feel! when I see horror movies with my friends, most just wanna get scared about some crazy serial killed and stuff like that, most ppl can't see the beauty behind it. why fear the unknown why u can see it's beauty and embrace it? well, for some reason I like the Faust legend, vampires, demons and stuff of the kind. I believe u feel some beauty behind that kind of stuff, tough most ppl fear it. And yes, Silent Hill has a great atmosphere, never played a game like that one. It's so unique... I never played Siren, though, liked to do it, but I can't find it anywhere! it's so annoying... -.-' |

| Hostel ruled. The movie wasnt just the old cliche horror. It was exiting to the last minute. Didnt like the sequel too much though. |
